Craftsman 101.21400 Countershaft Bracket

Hi! I'm getting started on my first ever lathe restoration/refurbishing and am looking or a countershaft bracket (Part M6-20B) for a Craftsman 101.21400. I've included a picture below of the one I have that's broken.

Hopefully in a few months/years I'll have the skills to fix something like this myself!

Yep, difficult to fix that- not a lot of material to tie to. Those come up on Ebay, keep an eye out
 
Yeah. I've got time. I'm not in a rush and plan to just really enjoy the process. Worst case I'll figure out making an entirely new one out of some other metal. (Just starting to learn so I don't even know enough to say what type of metal that would be!).
 
Indeed, you could use aluminum plate and put together a nice surrogate assembly- the sky is the limit
Even wood would serve- at least temporarily
