This stuff contains Chloride so am I correct in assuming that its not safe to use on aluminum? Says safe on plastics but nothing about aluminum. Thanks, Joe

Chlorides are usually acidic so it should be safe on aluminum- it's alkalies that would be more of a concern

Yes that's why you never put lye or oven cleaner (sodium hydroxide, strong alkali) on aluminum ware- it eats it
