Another one of my odd ball projects
I got a Gravely pro walk behind mower with a rotted out mower deck
being some what creative and having to many tools and time
I custom made the entire deck out of 3/16" diamond plate

I think your rite Bill
But at least my son will have a tank of a mower
It's a shame when some one like Gravely cheeps out and uses stamped sheet metal for the deck
I don't think the deck will be a problem any more

Holy smoke, nice job. That thing has to be twice as heavy? Sure would like to see it all mounted up. ;)

I'd have to use the engine hoist just to mount it!

It's actually not as heavy as it looks
The original deck had a 3/8" stiffener plate bolted to it so it only about 30 lbs heavier
And a little extra weight helps offset the hydro drive , battery and the hydro fluid reservoir
it needs to be repainted again after adding the mount brackets and a baffle underneath
It will be on the front burner pretty soon the push mower is getting old !!

His name is Jerry lea, and a good watch dog,

Sorry Jerry Lee : but is Lea :lmao::lmao::lmao: His father was a police dog in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Jerry didn't make the cut, he had a little problem like letting go when told to.
so my wife got him for me, he has been retrained and a good dog.

Here is my other tractor Ferguson TO-30
