Dc motor help

looking at the motor more closely I don't think it will do what I need. And I'm blurry eyed from looking. HAHA

Any ideas from you folks.

Please don't laugh its still in proof of concept stage

HAHA, Well lets try this again I think this motor may be better https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gear-Reduc...881704?hash=item3d8f66c3a8:g:REoAAOSw5wVdLE-l and will this power supply be suitable https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mean-Well-...Regulated-Switching-Power-Supply/373339678292 I'm trying to keep the packaging and wiring to a minimum. I think the controller I listed earlier will still work with these components.
Please correct me if I am mistaken. And again if anyone has a better idea please suggest it.

Thanks again for all the help thus far, I'm always amazed at the helpfulness and knowledge here.

I ran this type of motor extensively for color wheel setups back when we did light shows. They are pretty tough, don’t recall burning one up and I used to make my own speed controllers. You should be fine with any of these motors as long as the amperage is close.

Yes, the laptop power supply will work fine. If you don’t need a specific speed just hook it straight to the motor.

I run my CNC machine with those things ;)

John

Repeating what @matthewsx said, the power supply looks like it's well matched to the motor.
