Delta Band saw vibration

All done.
New lower wheel, all new bearings, new belts, tires, blades, moveable skid and a bit of paint.
The vibration is greatly improved. The strange noises have gone and the shift mechanism works as designed.
This is a very handy saw. I like having the wood capability-plastic, aluminum etc.
I spent way too much on it but I just couldn't stop once I got started.
It's not for sale. --
I just noticed the blade guard is not installed in this shot.

Its nice when you go to the efforts you did on this project and everything starts to work as it was intended to. Good work and report -- jack

Well done Jeff.
I’m glad you sorted out the problem.
I’d love to find a saw like that!

Very nice. Sooooo..... how much you want for it? ;)
$2,500 should do it;)
I understand these went for around $2,100 adjusted for inflation.
That was a lot of money for a band saw back in the 70's.
In today's money, A Jet metal/wood 14" band saw will run about $1,700 out the door.
I had one, it burned in the fire. It was a nice saw.
I sure would like a cast iron base.
