Moved a couple of months ago, finally getting some of my tools setup in the new shop area. My Delta Homecraft Drill press has a Jacobs Multicraft Drill Chuck, MC-33 1/2 capacity, the problem is I am missing the chuck key and can't seem to find the right sized key for this chuck? Tried a supplier and they sent me the wrong size, how can I determine which key is called for on this older model Jacobs Chuck? The current chuck has a (.233) sized pilot hole, 15/64 and is about 5/8" wide at the teeth.
Any ideas? If I can at least determine what key I am looking for I am sure I can find it - maybe. Also, I've never used this older drill press, is there any type of maintenance I should consider before I use it much?
Thanks,

Tim

Here is a table of Jacobs chuck keys. I'm not sure if it's going to help since the "33" shows a K32 key with a 1/4" pilot. Maybe the K7 key?

Thank you, Rich. Actually I measured the pilot hole and it appears to be 15/64 I wonder if the K30 would work? Or maybe the K7?
