Different Knurl

Wounder if wheels did these knurls, I kinda like this style

Knob is from a KOLee surface grinder.
 
I have seen some of those KO Lee SG's in our area from time to time.
Based on the rust, did you pick one up? Could it be injection molded?
 
It came off of this , if you want it pm me , the parts i took off it can be replaced. I don’t have the room for it .

That pattern is done with a single wheel bump knurler if I recall correctly. The wheel has essentially a normal diamond knurl, which embosses a inverse of itself on the workpiece.

Hi Guys,

I believe that it is rolled into the head of the screw, a bit like a rolled thread on a bolt. It would take a large amount of pressure to emboss steel like that. Far more than simple knurling. Certainly visually impressive !
