Looks like ceramic coating runs in the same ball park as chrome price wise. Way to much for this project.
 
Try googling for aluminum foil and Coca-Cola (not off-brands) to remove rust. Surprising results to say the least. Won't infer I have, but trust those who did get results and photo proof.
 
The forks got cleaned and polished on the lathe. And the exhaust went in the blast cabinet.
 
Well some one at work gave this to me, said wouldn't start. Cleaned the carb and put a new battery in and fire right up. It is an X6 super pocket bike. With a Honda 50 automictic clone engine.
