I use TapMagic, it does not seem to make a problem. I use the regular type, not the extra thick type.

I use TapMagic EP-Xtra & have never had that happen either. I also have that TapMagic Xtra-Thick but I rarely use it. It's really thick, too thick to use in the winter & it doesn't even get really cold here.

Regular Tapmagic smoke has no effect. Only the Extra Thick variety does this and you have to get it hot enough to smoke to get this result.

Tapmagic and Oatey Dark Cutting Oil.
The Oatey is sulfur based.... kind of stinks but works good and it’s cheap. 7.00 for 16 ounce bottle from Amazon. Lowe’s used to carry it... but some stores don’t carry it in stock anymore. Must be an environmental issue.
