Edge Finder Adapter

Need to use your edge finder but the wrong collet is installed? This adapter will mate to 3/8, 1/2 & 3/4 (or adapt to your measurement system). 3/4 Al. round stock, 1/2 in step & 3/8 bore. Slit adapter length wise to grip your edge finder.

It is preferable to reream the hole after slitting, some times internal stress will collapse the hole and it cleans up the slitting burr.

 

Simple but effective!
