OK guys bought this fan with motor. It has three wires one Black, one Blue and one White. The Black and Blue are where they were when I bought it. The white wire is where it looked like to me it belonged so I PUT IT THERE. Question is how do I hook it wire up to a switch, which one is hot etc. Any help would be appreciated.PIC_0763.JPG

You could get a SPDT toggle switch, three position, center off. Your black and blue wires would go to the outside terminals of the switch while the center terminal would be your hot wire and the white wire from the fan is the neutral going to your plug.

So if I have this right, I hook up the black and blue wires to a switch like you have shown. I then come in with another line from the power source and hook up the hot wire in that line to the center terminal of the switch and the neutral wire (on that hot line) to the white wire coming from the fan assembly.
