Emco new to me v13 bolt size question.

Have noticed the hex head cap screws are neither standard or metric. Any idea what they might be?

If its german Emco ,then you probably got a metric fine thread..........early Jap and Taiwanese also used a metric fine that can t be found today.

Emco uses BSW for their cross slide and compound leadscrews but the fasteners should be metric. You're using a metric thread pitch gauge to check the bolts you have, right?

Thank you for the reply. I believe that it may be German made. The company I work for is German and they imported most things from there from the 70's to the late 90's

Emco Maier made the V13 and are based in Austria.

I dunno', common metric tools fit the bolts on my lathe.
