Enco 110-2034 Wiring Help!

Do you have a model number for that unit Harry? Grainger is a BIG catalog

Edit: I took a look and most all the transformers they show are 24 volt output
which is great if you need that. I believe the OP needed 240v to 120v though
Some lathes use a 120 volt contactor system, some use 24 volt.

Yes that could work if his supply is 277v- the Triad N-77U is one of the few suitable ones still available
Like I mentioned before, finding 240v to 120v stepdowns in small physical sizes is getting tough
Although a larger unit could be mounted outside the box and wires run in
Personally I would convert to a 24v control system, a DC drive and motor, or a VFD and 3-phase motor

Another note: When a transformer goes dead, it's usually a broken wire at the terminals, often on the primary side. If the transformer
isn't too burned, a bit of digging and peeling away of insulation sometimes can reveal the break in the wire which can be re-soldered
I've resuscitated a couple that way
Sometimes a factory solder joint is faulty and over time it fails
