Looking for gear that rides up in the rack gear that runs the length of the bed or compete lathe for parts

Hi Alvin, three main options:
1) Buy a part for a comparable lathe like Grizzly- there's a good chance it may fit
2) Adapt an off the shelf gear such as Boston gear or Martin
3) Make it yourself
Obviously the third option would require some tooling that you may not have-
but we would never discourage you from buying more :)

hey Alvin, I have a Jet 12x40 and a enco 10x24, I have found that the Jet BDB-1340A which parts are still available for from jet, fits both of these lathes, I have ordered the back gear from the 1340a and it fits my old enco lathe with just adding a couple of spacers on the shaft, I have also ordered several gears for my 12x40 and they fit perfect. you can down load the parts manual from jet, the parts will probably fit your lathe better than the grizzly stuff
