I ran out of #8 x 1-3/8 Deck Screws (exterior use). So . . . I searched online.

Long story short, I found screwoutfitters.com, which seems to be closely connected with the Fastap brand source.

The prices, per package quantity, were amongst the best I saw online. The icing on the cake is FREE shipping on orders over $15.
The web site was very easy to use. In the "size search", it returned 4 options for 1-3/8 length (Philips, square and star drive exterior deck screws + one "for Melamine").


A box of 100 (#8 x 1-3/8) is $7.60, so two boxes gets you into free shipping.

I ordered 1000 (star drive ) for $51.30 + tax. That ought to hold me (and my heirs).

No driving, no searching, no asking the unknowing = Priceless.

I have no relationship with Screw Outfitters except the order described.

My order was just delivered vis USPS Priority Mail. Four days since I ordered, including a weekend.

The screws look fine and two insert bits were included.

I'm completely satisfied to this point.

My only reservation is, I can't yet confirm that the screws perform as expected. I have no reason to think they won't.
