Federal test indicator -1938

I don't know where I got it but it looks old.
I checked the patent #2141627.
Filed by Chauncey C Street's, attorney on August 5th, 1937. Patent issued December of the following year.
Do we have this fellow to thank for today's test indicator?
I didn't see a brand name but this is Model # One.
Kind of interesting, I love old stuff.
It works.
