Finally Got a Height Gage

I've been looking for a reasonably priced 10-12 in. height gage ever since Fred gave me the 12x18 surface plate. Finally got a 10 in. Mitutoyo vernier on eBay for $53 including shipping. No more layout with combination square and scribe. Now what else do I need.......?

Sadly, I find that to be the case for me too. Window shopping can get expensive.
