Well, I got started on this project about 9 months ago in school and set it aside as I tried to complete some other projects. It's finally time to move forward again and I've made some more progress.

I'm making everything on my manual lathe and CNC mill at home. The construction is all stainless, mostly 304 and 420, and the blade will be CPM S90V. I'll post more pictures as progress, well, progresses. I have the other handle side and blade left to mill before I start rough shaping the blade and send it to HT. The pivot, springs, ball detents, and stop pin were the only purchased parts.

Look forward to seeing more pictures. Keep at it!
