Ford 3 speed manual transmission

Here is a short video I made which covers the gear cutting setup and most of the pictures seen previously. It also shows the transmission turning over int the lathe and being shifted.

I love the fact that you knew what you wanted borrowed the part re-engineered it and made your own. That’s awesome. I do the same but not as daring and skilled as you. It just proves if you have the desire and know how you can pretty much make anything! Again GREAT JOB!

Of course, those who don't understand will ask the question of why spend untold hours of time, talent and machinery to build from scratch something which is available in any U-Pick yard for cheap; because you wanted to.
