Beautiful workmanship. The only question is will it stand up to "hot rodding" a gasoline engine. It really doesn't matter, if he built it, he can repair it. Just a thought. . .
If memory serves(debatable), the overdrive module fit between the transmission and the tail shaft. JCWhitney used to carry a universal(doesn't fit anything well) aftermarket overdrive. I haven't seen one for ages, I assume mommy government caused them to discontinue such items. I sure would like to find one. I have made such a device for my machines, but wouldn't trust my work on a gasoline engine at road speeds.
