Friendly little spider on my front retaining wall

We've got some crazy spiders in BC!
 
He looks big and scary in that photo! Not that I'm a lover of spiders but he sure is a cool looking dude.
 
He's got plenty of eyes!
 
As long as he's a friendly, outgoing spider and not a reclusive type. ha.
I read somewhere you are never more than 6 feet from a spider, on land anyhow

Great pic! I happily coexist with spiders in my shop. I'm very happy for them to be snapping up bothersome insects. There's even old Fred the garden spider who has taken up residence in my Land Rover dash.
I have bee houses hung outside the shop too, it's lovely seeing the little tubes fill up with mason bee larvae ready to hatch in spring.

Lol what is it machinist and pet spiders? I've also kept spiders for quite some time. As long as they mind their own business and arent in a place with kids around I'm good with it. Hahaha
