Ghosty's Rupnow Vertical Engine

Beautiful work! Love the wood stand. How noisey is it, when running? I'd love to see it run. I'm glad that I have too many shop jobs lined up that I am completely not interested in making one myself........well it would be a fun project.

CHuck the grumpy old guy

Has not run yet, still have to make up the flywheel, should be around 5 1/4" x 1"thick, I only have 3 1/2' x 2" thick material at the moment, have a lot of problems getting material as I have to order every thing that I need as there is no suppliers where I live.

Very nice work. Now that you have it down, time to start on the V-16 turbocharged version.;) cheers, Mike

Nice work, Andrew. You've got a nice runner there.

Brian Rupnow certainly comes up with some neat engine designs. It's just too bad that he isn't a member here.

WAY TOO COOL!
It's alive. It's alive.

Not being a small engine person, how does the carburetor work?
How many horse power?

Oh, and what fuel do you use?

As far as HP is concerned, no idea, don't care. Fuel is unleaded.

Cheers
Andrew
