Has anyone had experience with this source, and is it up and working?

Thanks,

Nelson

That's a lot of information. Some looks slightly..........illegal.

Tony,

It was advertised on another forum. Feel free to edit as necessary, since I am not sure what is and what is not acceptable. Maybe some of it can be placed in the download area as acceptable. I will make a "Gunsmithing" category in there now.

Best,

Nelson

Nelson, I'm not an advocate of suppression of information. It's just a fair warning for anyone to use that information. Their is no prohibition of knowledge, as far as I know.

Thanks for posting it!

Just one mans opinion, and worth what you paid for it, but...

Being in possession of some of that information is one thing. Being in possession of machining equipment at the same time might not be a good idea in my view.
Not sure about how the Justice Department would feel about a machining site providing links to it. I do know first hand of someone that ran afoul of the BATFE over some (commercial) fireworks issues that were disclosed when they were discussed on a firearms forum.

I haven't seen anybody gets prosecuted from owning machine tools and possession of books about silencer and full auto conversion. Possession doesn't mean you are doing something illegal. Can you get can arrested by your future or potential actions. It looks like a scene fro the minority report. I like the information and it should not be treated as something we have to hide. There are already too many politically correct individuals among us shooters and gunsmith. If we continue to fear, those freedom controlling people, America will stop to exist. Remember America is the symbol of freedom, if we give this away what do we get in exchange.
Leave it the way it is.

Heck, for that matter one of Tom Clancys' books gives detailed info on making a silencer. Does that mean it is a crime to read the book? Aside from that, one of my " friends " asked me to make a silencer and I flat refused. Don't want any part of it.:thinking:

I would actually love to make/design silencers. Won't happen until I get the FFL and proper licenses though.

Thanks Nelson, new fodder for the grey cells.
