Gloves in a Bottle

Yes I have used something similar and it works surprising well for paint, grease and oil protection. Mine washes off easily with water however so any exposure to water based coolant would likely wash it off in short order.

It doesn't wash off my hands. Here's a bit of a blurb about the product -

Gloves In A Bottle is bonded with the outer layer of skin, so it comes off naturally with the exfoliation process. In fact, Gloves In A Bottle was made to protect against the drying effects of repeated hand washings or high exposure to water and detergents. Doctors, dentists, nurses and other people who need to wash their hands a lot are protected.

Interesting, does it say how to remove it from your hands when the day is done?

There's no way to take it off (your don't even know its on there) it just wears off supposedly when your skin sheds.

I put it in on twice a day and its fixed my cracking skin from washing all the different crap that I get on them during a day in my workshop.

My brother is out doing some shopping today for me. Net says Walmart carries it, asked him to see if in store.
Plan on giving it a try.
I had a case of something that came from an industrial supplier and never have found anything as good. Hope this is the "jammies"

When I worked in a chemistry lab in Germany, every sink had pump dispensers of liquid gloves. There was also a pre-wash, a dissolver to strip the gloves at the end of the day, and finally a cleanser with some sort of lotion in it. It wasn't my jam for that environment, but next time I drop a transmission it might be nice to have "on hand"...

Hope it works as good for you as it has for me. You don't need much at all as it goes a long way, just be sure to rub it well into your cuticle area etc as it makes washing up to eat or at the end of the day so much easier. I put it on in the morning and then again after lunch if I'm doing a day in my shed.

A few people have contacted me privately and told me that they were developing contact demertitis to all sorts of daily contact to oils, greases and some even to contact with aluminum and other metals and that their skin specialists had put them onto gloves in a bottle and their dermatitis issues had resolved. When I look around at all the different things in my workshop that my hands come in contact with on a multiple daily basis, I'm happy to have a product like this. Hope it helps someone else out.
