Got another question: shortening cartridge cases

I have a case trimmer with a removable pilot for trimming .308 Win cases, It has a pin which extends through the primer hole to reference the base of the case. Not suitable for removal of large amounts of neck as in resizing 30-06 cases but it works fine for dealing with neck growth. It works with the clamp mentioned in post #2 and can be used manually or with the lathe.

Sorry, I can't i.d. the manufacturer though.

I modify cases from 223 to 50-70’s with these trimmers

RJ. Your tool sounds like my K&M chamfer tool. They unfortunately max out at .338. Love mine tho.
