Got my first micrometer, Starrett 224

Got this guy for what I think is a pretty reasonable $60. Has all the correct wrenches and standards. I cleaned up the faces of the spindle and anvils and it still works perfectly over the full range.

Very nice. I bought the same set a year ago for $61. I have a 0-1" micrometer for 90% of the stuff I do but these are great for the larger projects and seem like a good alternative to separate micrometers. Love the wooden box versus the plastic cases.
