Does any one here use GRBL, I have found the Gcode to set Acceleration but can't find wherE to set deceleration This particular machine is a longarm quilting machine using the xy axis, it weighs about 60 lbs and when doing a sharp reversals inertia of the machine is causing loops instead of points by flexing the spring tighteners on the travel belt.

Thanks

So far as I know there is no deceleration setting.

REALLY off the cuff here. Deceleration is negative acceleration......and good luck!

Hey Yoda, acceleration/deceleration are the same thing, being just the maximum allowable rate of changing speed whether increasing or decreasing. The settng can be viewed and command issued from the console of whatever you are using as for Gcode sender. $120, $121, and $122 are X, Y, and Z acceleration respectively. So just issue the command $120= whatever the desired acceleration value in the units you are using, usually either in/sec^2 or mm/sec^2.

Are you still running that scrapping furnace and selling aluminum ingot?

Best,
Kelly
