Hi all,

I have a logan 2500 series lathe (2557 VH) and the manual says there are 2 grease zerks for lubrication. I can find one pretty easily (back gear lube point on back of headstock) but can't find the other one. Anyone have any idea where it should be?

Reddmax, I have that same lathe. If you stand at the headstock end of the lathe, about 4" below the hand wheel that pulls out when using back gears, there is a hole in the guard that lets you access that second zerk. The first time you try, it helps if you go ahead and take the whole guard off so you can see exactly where the zerk is, After that its easy to get it through the hole. Good luck, and if you have any other questions about "our" lathe, just ask away. JR49

I actually have found it. Someone it the poor lathe's past had removed the fitting. I'll be putting in a new fitting and be back in business.
Thank you all for your help.
