Hardinge HLV-EM

I would be on that if it wasn't worlds away .
 
I have its older brother a HLV. Beautiful lathe to use, threading on them is a joy. You can thread to a shoulder, inside or outside at 4 or 5 hundred rpm with the automatic stop. The spindle runs almost silent, and finishes approach ground. Not a work hoarse though. Think the two speed motor is only about a horse but massive. Made by Singer as in the sewing machine.
That one has metric threading, wish mine did. Need to make a whole bunch of gears to accomplish it.
