I got a new to me SB 9a. Ordered it online, and did not realize it did not have a tensioner with it, until I went to put it together. Has anyone made one of these? I see one for around $70, on ebay, but that sounds steep for this part. Any advise, pics appreciated. Thanks

If you have some basic fabrication skills Do a search for a new serpentine belt tensioner for a car... they can be had for around $25 new depending on the car its off of. In the past, I found that the mechanical Parts for GM/Chevrolet models that are commonly kept in stock on the auto parts store shelves (80s-2000) are usually dirt cheap and will do the job nicely assuming you have the space and ability to add it to your machines drive belt setup. Hope this help inspire a solution for you that dont cost a crazy amount.
