I’m trying to identify this dividing head. There are no manufacturer plates on it. Any thoughts? I’m trying determine if there were more than the 3 index plates available for it.

It looks like it has an input shaft to drive it to do helical and spiral gears. So I would guess it would be a manufacture that also made milling machines.

It does. And I'd have to assume that as well.

It looks an awful lot like the K&T. Perhaps one that was less common.

The chuck is stamped "UNION MFG" "NEW BRITAIN, CONN, U.S.A."

I think the mystery is solved. Someone suggested it is in fact a very early K&T, but the only thing I can find is this page from Catalog No. 19 from circa 1919. No doubt in my mind.
