I bought a Rong Fu mill, but the wiring is not hooked up! Don’t know why. But here are the pictures of what I’ve got. Any help would be appreciated! Sorry for some of the upside down pictures, and it has a 220 plug in , so I guess its wired fir 220. The motor shows it can go either way. The top picture is the forward and reverse switch that the 220 is coming into.
The wires coming out of the motor are red, blue, black, and brown, plus the green ground.

Hey Bones! How many horsepower is the motor? If it's 3/4HP or more you probably want to keep it on 220V. Do you have 220V available?
Mark

Yeah Mark you helped me with mine I have a 2 hp 110 set up. I just wrote down my setup for him.I have 220 now and may change although the mill seems to much the metal just fine.

Yes I have 220 available, I think it’s wired now for 220. It’s a large motor, I’m not at the shop right now. My main concern is how to wire the revesrable switch. Bones

So what exactly do you need help with? Is the motor currently disconnected from the drum switch? It should be possible to piece it back together using the diagram inside the switch cover (although I personally would redraw it on a larger piece of paper for clarity). It looks like that short red jumper wire needs to be reconnected as well
Also, you probably want to fasten that start capacitor somehow and insulate the terminals
Question: I see the capacitor value is 300uF- what is the voltage rating printed on it?
Can you post a couple more pictures of the reversing switch? Couple different angles would help- need to see all the terminals clearly

Hi Dudeman! Does your machine have the same type of reversing switch as Boneyard's?
