Help

As a former race engine builder I’m gonna say this isn’t a job for a home machine shop unless they are an experienced engine builder and have the gear.

If you can’t purchase parts that work out of the box I’d suggest paying for a pro shop to do it right. Consequences of doing it wrong are significant.

Best to look for old school engine shop.

Or a scrapped motor.

There is still a couple in Fresno from back in the day, they had full engine shop but I am not sure if they did this.

That is a substantial amount of material to remove.

If the correct part cannot be found for the engine it may be better to look for a scrap engine or replace.

There are dealers of such things.
