Can the gears and the thread gears from a 9-10k be used on a heavy 9 or 9jr if you change the bango

if the bore id and the diametrical pitch are the same, then yes you can.
i seem to remember that SB used different bore diameters between lathes
i want to say .625" id was common on the 9 and 10" lathes
maybe someone else has better intelligence on the differences

5/8 or .625 is what my lathe has I believe the standard 9-10k was 9/16 boar. I have received the gears i purchased and they are 9/16 so i have some gears to sell now just to quick to pull the Triger on this new project .

The answer is no. 9" junior's used a 16 pitch gear, 9/10k's used an 18 pitch gear. Even with the bores the same, the two do not mesh well together.

If you have no gears, and the bores match, you can replace all gears. That means the common stud gear that is 16 teeth, too, as well as the screw gears.
