This spurred me to get on with replacing the silly little vise crank wheel with a quick vise unit I’d picked up in a garage sale off of an abrasive saw. Had to make an adapter for the end of the screw to attach the vise to and a mount for the new quick crank. Was a little tricky to figure out the mount as there’s ridge on the saw frame. But very happy every time I use it as it’s easy to pull open now for big changes in stock. Why it doesn’t come with that when the cheaper abrasive saws do dunno.
