These are a couple of tools I made for the Sherline for polishing pivots. With practice these are not usually needed but are fun to make.

The steady rest you have made looks useful for polishing pivots. It is less bulky than the sherline steady rest. I see that you have adjustments for the height. Does the arbor sit in a vee notch"
