How do I tighten belt on PM-1440GT

My drive belt is loose. It squeals when I start the rotation and the gear case has rubber dust coating the inside here and there.

It seems I'm supposed to loosen two bolts ("motor frame bolts") and then adjust the smaller bolts on top which move the motor assembly up and down. (down to tighten).

I just can't see how on earth I'm supposed to access the back motor frame bolt to loosen it. You can't even see it in this picture, it at the back side of the motor, covered by the motor. And I can't access it from behind because the splash guard is in the way.

I don’t have the 1440 but I have the 1236 that is very tight also. I have a serpentine belt tool kit that works real well to get to the back bolts. It’s long reach but have to be careful tightening the bolts because of the leverage of the long reach.
