How to UpGrade Your Account to Donate and Support the Forum
To upgrade your account, click on your name/User ID, and your profile box comes up. On the right side (highlighted above) you will see "Account Upgrades."
Click on this, and you will see your upgrade choices:
-Premium Membership (12 months) $25.00 per year, non-recurring $30 per year
This is for one-year premium membership, Less ads, more access.
-Sustaining Membership (12 months) $50.00 per year, recurring or non-recurring.
This is for one-year sustaining membership, No ads.
-Commercial Membership (12 months) $100.00 per year, recurring or non-recurring.
This is for one-year commercial membership, automatically renews. This allows you to describe your products on the forum, and answer questions about your products.
-Site Sponsor (12 months) $200.00 per year, recurring or non-recurring.
This is for one-year membership, automatically renews. All the benefits of a commercial membership, plus use of your product's forum for advertising and support.
A few notes:
Any company that sends a representative here (digital marketer, etc.) as a company rep to promote their stuff, explain, demonstrate, answer questions, etc. MUST become a commercial member. Otherwise, kick them off the site. This ends the questions about whether it is self-promotion. If they are discussing their company's stuff, it is self-promotion. They can simply pay us $100 per year and do it. Advertising costs money. We pay for it. Why shouldn't they?
Any company that wants to utilize their company forum to answer questions, provide support, offer deals, etc. can buy the Site Supporter membership and do that. That would be, for example, Quality Machine Tools (Matt), who is the first member of that category.
