I do not have the one linked. I have a different item, same size etc. I got mine on Black Friday for $200. Normal price is $300. The one in the link seems to weigh more, which may be good.

I think this would be too high to mount a lathe, at least for me. Too high for me to use as a workbench.

The 18" is currently $50 more. I just bought one and took about an hour from walking into store to walking out with a unit. The 24" for $250 is the same quality as the 18" yet more depth giving you more weight.

I will say the casters are not going to hold up if you plan to load the cabinet and roll around. Invest in quality poly wheels for longevity especially before the cabinet is loaded.

The added power strip is nice yet wish it was on the other side for my South Bend.
