Ok, thanks. I will continue looking.

I looked through the manual of the machine that we had. And there is squat info on the hydraulic system except to maintain the reservoir level. That is it other than the type of fluid to be used. Unfortunately not useful at all.Sorry

This is a picture of a hydraulic reservoir for a Boyer Shultz manual /automatic surface grinder from a BS manual

Thank you for all of the help. I think I know what to look for now.

I did NOT check this for suitability for your grinder.
It is an example from the HGR floor today.
Most of their inventory is on the web, many items are mis labeled, so take your time.

Thank you. I will start looking. I am not in a hurry to get the pump. I just want to make sure I get the right one. And I don't want to spend a huge amount of money to do it. So I will take my time.

@sdelivery so i have been digging around on the HGR site and have been a little frustrated. it is really difficult to tell if any of the units i have found would work since the data on the pumps is nonexistent except for HP. Here are some possibilities that i have found:
0720-129-0006HYDRAULIC UNIT03A/3500$24.99
1015-009-0698HYDRAULIC UNIT03B/3000$79.99
1020-066-0057HYDRAULIC UNIT03A/3500$79.99
1020-066-0061HYDRAULIC UNIT03A/3500$119.99
1020-066-0063HYDRAULIC UNIT03A/3500$119.99
1020-066-0056HYDRAULIC UNIT03A/3500$119.99

The first unit is off of some type of chemical processing machine and has a control unit that i would not need. but the size and weight is above what you suggested. cheap, but probably wouldn't be the right choice. especially once freight is worked in.
The second is more in line size wise but is 1HP and the tank may not be large enough
The third one is also pretty large and is most likely oversize.
No. 4 looks promising. 1/2HP but is also fairly large and heavy.
No. 5 also looks promising. No HP but appears to be the right size. But it appears have an on board valving assembly
No 6 is 1 1/2HP and a 10 gallon tank. cant read the data card in the photo. probably too big.

I am still digging around on HGR and on the bay. i am not ready to put down a ton of cash. so i am biding my time.

I will try and get by Hgr in the next couple of days

Hey Razzle....good things take a long time.
Looks like a Barnes GC 61. I will double check tomorrow.
I believe I have one of these pumps.
The motor specs out to 1/4 Hp and 3450 Rpm

Interesting. No worries. The project is slow moving since we are now hitting the 100's and my shop is not air conditioned. Just let me know what you find.
