I've done a bit of research on shapers, as I have owned 7 of them. The largest I found mention of was a 60" shaper, back around the turn of the century or so. The biggest I have or could reasonably handle is a 24".

60" ?! Would be neat to see a video of one of those in operation.

I don't think any remain in existence. There was a picture that was probably en engraving done in a publication of the machine.
