I tested the HF Lifetime Warranty claim for hand tools

The way I see it, the breaker bar and their dead blow hammers are the only tools worth buying at HF, and now you're ruining that for me!
I bought one of their "Fortress" Ultra-Quiet air compressors and man is that thing slick. Super quiet indeed and outpaces my 3HP 8 gallon bog boy. Haven't run it since I bought the HF ones.

Well I guess i’ll Be “that guy”
A while back I bought an air pressure gauge from Harbor Freight.
After 2 weeks it wouldn’t return to zero when I pushed the button.
I returned it, i hadn’t kept the receipt so they wouldn’t let me return it for one that worked.
I then bought an identical one, took it to the car, brought the broken one back in with my new receipt.
They then gave me a new one.
It was only $4, but it ****** me off. I told them so.

For purposes of accuracy, that tool you broke is a flex handle. I know that everyone calls them a breaker bar, but they are not.
This is a breaker bar, it is much stronger than a flex handle.

I have always heard of them both called breaker bars, with the two being distinguished from one another as a flex handle and a sliding t-bar
