I want a new toy

I want a small (18 X 18 x 12 High ) Horizontal boring mill. I loved running G&L. Never got to run a Lucas.

Any ideas, or do I have to build it from scratch?

Thank you, but those are a bit large for my shop, and work envelope. They'd be a blast to play with though. I don't think the 15kW motor would turn here either....

I've seen a HBM about the size of the Lucas crammed into a one car garage over in China! How they load anything on the table I don't know. Looked like there was about two foot of room on either side of borer to slither by.

There was a total of three of these on two different auctions in the Twin Cities area. All 3 went for a little over $100 each for them, and they maybe looked cleaner than that one. So, maybe those three went dirt cheap or the eBay one is really high. I don't know enough about them either.

Yes, they went cheap as long as you were able to pick up during their pick up window in rural MN on a Friday.
I'd have one of them in my shop if I could have managed the pick up times.
