Identifying Monarch Lathe

I found this lathe for sale and I have been trying to figure out what model it is so I can look into its features more. if anyone can help me figure it out that would be great

I was thinking the same thing about the tool post. It looks as if you would need to replace the entire cross slide to get a compound back on there

I'm guessing early war years model c/ck. It looks like it is 8 speed.

It's certainly not a CK, Looks to be an early 30's model, BB perhaps. 4 shift levers, so 2x2x2x2 = 16 speed.

Oh wow thanks, that is exactly what it looks like. I couldn't find any pictures that looked anything like it.

looks like part of the compound slide laying on the bed, is it all there? some sort of modification, maybe it was production, could be worn heavy
