If you had 20 hours free time in a machine shop ................

I would do the basic process with which I am the least familiar. That would be metric single point threading, a long taper, boring on a mill, or using a fly cutter on the mill.

Think I would try and finish my Gatling gun build. It’s probably half done and needs to be finished.
Last week I finished a set of machinery moving skids. Couldn’t find the size bearing I was looking for so bought 300 1/4” balls and made my own bearings. Cost much more to build them than if I had bought them at Northern Tools. I have one of my lathes I want to move next week and they will sure help. Have to many projects that will take a lot more than 20 hours to finish.

About ten hours into making a taper attachment for my Myford. Full thread (and much video) to follow.

This might require a little more than 20 hours.
I'm also a little late to the party.....

I forgot to ask if the 20 hours were contiguous or if was in 15 minute increments.... sigh

I'm at that point in my retirement that I can't believe I managed to find time to go to WORK! 20 hours? Pfft....
