I just learned about it, but we lost an older, very well respected member, Alan Douglas. He was not a frequent poster, but was very helpful when he did post. He came here by way of invitation by me from Antiqueradios.com
Here are a few links of interest providing a bit of background and information about him. He was a well known figure in his field, and will be missed. There has been communication with a niece, but no mention of his machinery. Apparently he passed away peacefully. He had no known health issues.
