I bought the set you are looking at in 5/8" and they are my main tools except for the threading and parting tools. All of the inserts are available from Shars for the 5/8" set. The DCMT and CCMT are available on Ebay too and won't break the bank. I bought Kennametal threading and parting tools that are the top notch design.
I think the triangle set TCMT? Is a good option for budgets as well as the Glanze set if you have some extra cash. I have what looks like that Glanze boring bar in the set shown and it is an excellent tool. The Glanze boring bar is available separately from Grizzly.
