I bought myself an Interapid 312b-1 on CL for a fair price I believe. Looks to in perfect shape. Last cal'd July 2015. Anyway, I don't like how the action is opposite of what I'm used to. Is there any way to reverse it? Currently a high spot will cause the dial to turn anti-clockwise.

That is how they were designed, and you will need to learn to live with it as it is, or sell it and get a different one. My Interapid 7028-4 tenths indicator was horribly and continuously annoying when I first got it, now it is mildly annoying once in a while... :eek 2:

That is what I like about the Starrett last word and the similar Brown & Sharpe, they are reversible, of course one way or the other they also read in reverse in one direction when reversed; nature of the beast, get used to it.
