This one is for sale locally to me. The description is:
Engine Lathe - Sheldon 13" 5' bed 4' center

What model does this appear to be?

Sheldon M series with "U" type drive (Don't shift on the fly!!!) additional turret t/s with "P" type pedestal base. Timken bearing headstocks. QC gearboxes were 56 or later 60 threads. very nice lathes... I've got one with a "B" bench type base. Wondering if you were able to snag this one?
Cheers!

Boy, those old threads re-surface periodically, don't they?

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, the Idaho tag got my attention as I haven't seen too many Sheldons out here, so was curious if he was able to snag it and offer any help he might need. They are good lathes.. mine weighed in at almost 1200 lbs. Working on getting my Wells-Index 845 under power now with a Hitachi SJ100 VFD so I can finally get to making some chips with it!

Regards,
Jeff P

The Sheldon in the original post above was actually for sale in California. I did not buy it.
