My new to me South Bend Heavy 9 has two teeth missing from the Bull Gear....having a hell of a time finding one.

Anyone have one lying around they want to sell??

Can’t help with the gear but what makes it a “heavy” 9 compared to a 9 regular?

Looks like somebody should start making these as you could probably sell about 200 of em.

What's the diametral pitch on the gear? You can find that using a comparison chart in Machinery's Handbook.

If this is correct.... DP = (# of teeth + 2) / OD It has 75 teeth, the OD of the gear is 5.5" SO...if my English Degree math is correct....14

The current gear is in a box headed for OH to have teeth repaired....but I did measure it, and I did count the teeth, but I cannot compare it to the MH....since I don't have a copy. I am a brand new total nug to machining.

Heck, looks like I"ll look into making them. It would be nice to have a price point to see if I can make them economically.
